Lesotho Rosehip Communities
Lesotho rosehip communities are at the heart of Organic Rosehip Lesotho’s work. A foundational element of our approach is close partnership with harvesting communities across the Lesotho Highlands. Our fair payment practices, together with training and empowerment initiatives, support responsible and sustainable harvesting.
We uphold quality by respecting local cultural traditions, reinvesting in communities, and following FairWild and organic best-practice standards.
We collaborate with local and international partners who value consistent product standards and responsible sourcing. Whether you are interested in rosehip oil, rosehip powder, or rosehip tea, we offer clear communication, reliable fulfilment, and long-term collaboration aligned to ethical harvesting practices in Lesotho.

Our Harvesting Communities In Lesotho
Our rosehip harvesting communities are located in Ha-Lejone, Motetem Matlameng, and Marakabei, within the high-altitude regions of Lesotho.
Why Lesotho Is Ideal For Rosehip
The highlands of the Kingdom of Lesotho provide exceptional conditions for organic rosehip. Growing at altitudes above 2,200 metres above sea level, Lesotho rosehips develop berries that are denser, richer, and naturally high in nutrients. With naturally high vitamin C levels and a strong antioxidant profile, these rosehips benefit from pristine mountain water sources and an environment free from industrial pollutants. Each berry reflects the natural purity of Lesotho
